  Information on the Storke family comes from, “The English Storke’s in America, 1935, by C.S. Storke. Orson was a farmer from Branchport, Yates County, NY. He bacame the keeper for the toll bridge on the Wolf River and later engaged in farming and was also a justice of the peace. In 1848 the Storkes sold their farm and moved to the vicinity of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
